About the project

Why this diary exists

My name is Rista Pietro, and this website documents my master's thesis in Eco-Social Design at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. The thesis focuses on assessing social and environmental sustainability in photovoltaic supply chains, using GKN For Future as a case study.

The diary has two functions. First, it tracks the development of the research from August to November 2026. Second, it acts as a prototyping space for communication and visualisation tools that can connect researchers, policymakers, investors, workers, and local communities around supply-chain impacts.
